The juxtaposition of stone and wood is always very powerful. This is an old fort on the coast of Maine – and the arch with blue sky gives a very dream-like and meditative quality to the photo – with the branches leading into the deep blue, away from the gray stone.
Furthermore, this is the contrast between the raw grounded Earth and the blue Heavens with a naked tree as a conduit. There are realities to our dreams and subconsicousness
Also, I removed the yellow colors which just seemed to take away from the raw power.
