Vermont Foliage

Within a field off of a dirt road in the middle of Vermont, a grove of beautiful foliated trees was illuminated by the sun against a deep blue sky.  I used a circular polarizing filter – which really brought out that blue sky!

Boston, Massachusetts

Zakim Bridge, Boston

These are a few unique angles of the heart and core of Boston – the raw backbone of a diverse and great port city which is home to many colleges and universities.  The were taken on a rainy day Duck Boat tour.  With the Big Dig now in the past, Interstate 93 passes over the bridge with arteries leading to points west, south, as well as to Logan International Airport.

Fall Foliage New England

Fall Foliage

This is my favorite time of year – driving around New England, aimlessly, looking for colors and beauty!  While both are abundant, it is not easy to get totally lost, away from the crowds, and to find some unique views.

This happened to be at the Quechee Gorge in Vermont – a very popularly photographed area.  It was early morning and the fog was lifting – so the valley clouds helped in softening the filtered early sun.
