These are a few unique angles of the heart and core of Boston – the raw backbone of a diverse and great port city which is home to many colleges and universities. The were taken on a rainy day Duck Boat tour. With the Big Dig now in the past, Interstate 93 passes over the bridge with arteries leading to points west, south, as well as to Logan International Airport.
This is my favorite time of year – driving around New England, aimlessly, looking for colors and beauty! While both are abundant, it is not easy to get totally lost, away from the crowds, and to find some unique views.
This happened to be at the Quechee Gorge in Vermont – a very popularly photographed area. It was early morning and the fog was lifting – so the valley clouds helped in softening the filtered early sun.
