This will be part of a series about the abstract Sea.
The white-capped foam-tops of the waves within the open sea – isolated, in white, against a deep dark background accentuate the feeling of the nature of the ocean.

This is my favorite time of year – driving around New England, aimlessly, looking for colors and beauty! While both are abundant, it is not easy to get totally lost, away from the crowds, and to find some unique views.
This happened to be at the Quechee Gorge in Vermont – a very popularly photographed area. It was early morning and the fog was lifting – so the valley clouds helped in softening the filtered early sun.
