Fall Foliage New England

This is my favorite time of year – driving around New England, aimlessly, looking for colors and beauty!  While both are abundant, it is not easy to get totally lost, away from the crowds, and to find some unique views.

This happened to be at the Quechee Gorge in Vermont – a very popularly photographed area.  It was early morning and the fog was lifting – so the valley clouds helped in softening the filtered early sun.
